SSHA Architectural Review Board (A.R.B.) -
- Certain Home Projects Must Be Approved
As part of the deed restrictions in our community, the SSHA Architectural Review Board (A.R.B.) requires that any homeowner who is planning a home project that will affect the exterior appearance or footprint of their home, complete AN APPLICATION, and submit it with plans and color selections (if applicable) for approval by the Board. The types of projects that require approval include:
• CHANGING EXTERIOR PAINT COLOR (house, trim, or door). Click HERE to view the Approved Colors; more colors to be added in the near future.
• FENCES
• DRIVEWAYS OR WALKWAYS (concrete, paver, etc.)
• DECKS
• POOLS
• MAJOR LANDSCAPING PROJECTS
• MAJOR REMODELING PROJECTS (additions, porches, etc.)
• STORAGE SHEDS
Most projects receive approval after review – especially if they enhance/improve your property so that your and your neighbor's property values are maintained or improved. Please complete the A.R.B. request form (CLICK HERE) and submit by email or print & mail to one of the A.R.B. members listed below.
